we'll jst be having a xmas lunch and then fun and games (mahjong, etc?) provided by mr goh ky. lunch will be settled by the girls! each person will probably pay ard $15-20. there will be a gift exchange too where i will msg u all to tell you who you're supposed to buy a gift for. something like angel and mortal. we're not doing random gift exchange cos we want the gifts to be more personalised.

hello pple,

think probably everyone knows that shen's gone to indo by now and hrm i jst want to say here that i'll really miss him and his ways. sgt pepper lonely hearts club band, out-of-the-zone stuff, pariahs, chipmunks and everything. i guess the feelings i hv for him and all of you is like close to l-o-v-e la haha. okay this is kinda embarrassing but i jst felt like doing this so dont laugh okay. and when i was talking to amer on msn tt night i realised i dint really know shen well, as much as i would hv liked too and i really regret not trying to look beyond the surface more. and erm since the guys are gonna go army soon, it will mean time lost with them as well in future. anw i dunno whether we will hv another sqd trip overseas or hv as many sqd outings in future but i jst wanna say here that i really love all of you and i hope that we will all try to maybe know each other more too cos yeah i dowanna hv any regrets when more of you leave especially the guys. shen's msg to us was really touching and made me realise jst how much he cared for us. well hahaha as he said OSOS FOREVER! i love shen! come back soon............

Overseas Trip

Hi boys and girls!

KY here, and I’m gonna update you on the overseas trip to KL at the end of the year.

The travel package that we will be taking has already been decided, and here are the details:

Here’s the rough idea of what to expect during the trip,

Day 1:
Genting Highlands

Day 2-5:
Kuala Lumpur, will probably be going sightseeing (?), mai dong xi chi dong xi-ing, and Sunway Lagoon

Date
8th December – 12th December

Travelling
Grassland Express (?)

Accommodations
Resort Hotel (Genting)
Swiss Garden Hotel (KL)
3 people will be sharing a room so that the hotel charge will be the lowest possible

Cost
$290/pax including only traveling by coach and hotel accommodation (for both hotels), and also the free breakfast buffet at Resort Hotel during the stay there. You’d probably want to bring around $300 more to be able to do some shopping and eat good food there, but this is just my estimate.

Get your passport renewed before school holidays starts (I’m probably going one of these days to renew mine, can come join me if you want to)

hey ppl, i just realised that my family is planning to go on a trip during that period. so is it alright if w changed the trip from the 3-7th? btw its a 5D4N trip,not a 4d3n. i wrote wrongly the last time. pls sms me if the date is ok with u all. if not, then its ok we can just switch back to the old date. but pls confirm asap.

hello people!

im sure all of you are looking forward to the end of As and the start of holidays! and whats a holiday without spending some time having fun, say overseas, with our fellow squadmates right! yep, we are most probably going to have a squad overseas trip after As. so the thing now is, where are we going?

here are some suggestions:

1. malaysia (e.g. genting, KL and the likes)
2. taiwan (think: JAYCHOUUUUUU!)
3. hongkong (shop eat shop eat)
4. some place with resorts (sounds beachy huh)

these are basically what a few of us thought of, considering costs and safety aspects. please comment on the most preferable holiday destination so that people who aren't as caught up with studies, ~~hints: kianyong~~, can start planning before we end up stuck in singapore after As alright!

right so as some of you may know, 28 July was the Passing Out Parade for the Standard 4s 2007, Yahui, Qingyi that sqd. so a grand total of 14 pple went down (from our sqd tt is) for Social night. and after that..we took photos!!!!! :D

oh look the one and only ah hong ge went down too! and he took photo of us and with us! aww so sweet..bet he misses us alot haha!! we're really such a friendly bunch of pple.

finally something that can be posted on the sqd blog without being too random! if you all can vaguely remember, 1st may (labour day) unfortunately coincides with dicksonlauyunzong's birthday, which means the public holiday granted to us automatically becomes void. we would have been able to have a cosy stay home tuesday if not for him. :(

Anyway, we must and definitely will go on a squad trip overseas at the end of this year, or maybe beginning of next year? Its cheaper to go next year and there'll be lesser tourists around everywhere. Suggestions so far include Hong Kong, Australia and Genting. We need to decide earlier and set everything if not later very rush!

HI guys, before you guys actually forget that there was someone called Goh Tze Sam ever in your life, I shall make my presence felt on this blog. Some of you all may think im here to niao keongbut NO that can wait as I want to tell you guys the shit I face being a first-aider in TJC.

Firstly, Im sure some of you are not strangers to the random niaoings by our friends, whom obviously do not see the need of first-aiders in the college or even the whole freaking world. Seriously they underestimate the importance of first-aiders and the only reply i can think of is " I hope your private parts fall off and theres no first-aider in sight to save your balls literally." Ignoring the fact that I will probably be unable to save anyone's private parts in the near future, my underlying message is that first-aiders are always under appreciated!

Yesterday, I just helped this girl in TJ who was suffering from exhaustion in the evening, and personally I felt that I did the right things and did not screw up, as Jun Xiang would agree with me. I go home feeling pretty satisfied and was thinking of ways to brush up on my knowledge lest i encounter more serious injuries in the future. And then today, this friend of mine came up and said these exact words ( in chinese) " Wah yesterday dont know who injured then this first-aider dont know doing what sia". That short statement seriously made me feel like shoving something up all the holes in him. He later added that he was kidding, perhaps seeing that i was on the verge of ripping his ass open, but the main point is how he reminded me how people not only make you feel useless at times, and then put you down when you finally feel that you've done something right.

The bottomline is, Im pretty sick of people questioning our importance and to pass on inconsiderate comments when we are actually doing our jobs. Im sorry that my first and perhaps only post on this blog is whining and so angsty. However I simply cannot find anybody who would remotely be able to relate to my situation. Thus, anyone is free to delete this post ONLY AFTER you READ IT! Ahh now I feel much better, THANKS OSOS! Love ya'll ( except keong).

to those who dint go for the sqd lunch this i basically wad we did: ate at kenny rogers. went people hunting :D and sit down on the steps and slacked and chilled and talked.

then right, during the talk-on-the-steps, we mentioned this reaaalllylyyy interesting topic which is.........................are blonde angmoh's armpit hair blonde too!!??? so our hypothesis was yes it's blonde too but in order to confirm our guess, teo yiwei (me) went to ask her angmoh uncle. in case u all dunno, my aunt (my dad's sister) married an angmoh (cool rite). so i went home and wow he was there jsut sitting and practically waiting for me to ask my very-important-question so the first thing i said was "hey uncle rick! is your armpit hair blonde?" cos he abit blonde-y brown wad. sooooo...the answer is.....

HEY!

Since nobody knows what to post, I shall start off to get the ball rolling again. You might be wondering what day is tmr, if you do not know yet, think abit harder. It's not my birthday yet, mine is on 22th Jan. It's not the first day of school yet, so a few days for to finish all our homework! And guess what?

Its 2007! 1st of Jan 2007! What's so significant about tt? Its the only day with the date 01/01/2007! And somemore its a MOnday! What a coincidence to hav 1st day of the year to fall on 1st day of the wk!

Of course we shall reflect for 2006 and come up with new resolutions for 2007.

2006 had been a busy and tiring and interesting as well as fun year. A new environment for all, so people changed, both mentally and physically. So much happened, so much undone, so much more to be done. I think I have learnt a lot in 2006, but somehow its hard to describe how much. For those who saw a change in me, I hope its changes for the better. But no matter what i shall remain as much as myself as possible, the unique Keong tt u cant find anywhere else!

2007 looks a bit hazy though. Cos our dear A level is coming. Perhaps another 6 mths b4 everyone puts on gear to chiong for tt. Then vooom! A level is over! Woah 2007 is over in a blink! Then u'll see the guys disappearing from the mainland to our chalet at Tekong. So gals do treasure the company of us for 2007.

movie marathon will be on 24 nov, friday night. as carmen's house will only be available to us after her parents cell end, we can only go to her house after 11pm. before that, lets meet for dinner at 7pm at tampines mrt station. we'll most probably have dinner and chill till 11pm before going to carmen's house.

Ah ha, so above was the intro, now its the main body.
Recently i got back my 16PF report (a personality test tt the sch did for the vj kids), i got 8.6 for apprehension, meaning im very self-worring, self-doubting and etc. Then suddenly i realised it was quite true. It set me into deep thoughts. Why 8.6? Am i gonna commit suicide soon liddat? What's worrying me? Then, i sorted out the stuff. Finally, i realised theres indeed too many unnecessary things to worry about. (Btw xiaowen got higher for tt, so do keep a lookout for him in case anything happen)

If something is bothering you, u mus noe wad part of it which is bothering u, then think again whether its worth ur effort to worry. If its smth tt wont cause u harm or damage by not thinking about it, then dun think too much about it lor. If it'll gonna happen, it wil happen. If it'll not, then it'll not. If u r uncertain, then tts an indication tt u shldnt think too much le. Just do the necessary stuff and hope for the best.

In conclusion, let go of the unnecessary burdens and be a happier person. What a complete gp essay.

Yay promos are over!!!!

Yiwei DEMANDED a squad chalet, so here are some options that I found online. The date would most probably be 17-19 Nov so that we can book at a promotional price.

Option 1

Coasta Sands Resort Pasir Ris

3D/2N Stay + 4 Theme Park Tickets* @ $270 Nett

This is the one beside downtown east with the single or double storey one. Kinda boring though, and gotta go all the way to downtown east if need to buy things. (yawnzzz)

Coasta Sands Resort Downtown East

3D/2N Stay + 4 Theme Park Tickets* @ $288 Nett

This the one we had recently. Very small in my opinion. (yawnzzz)

Aranda Country Club Executive Suites

$245 per night for NTUC Union Gold Card members (keong I'm sorry)

This DA bomb. If you ask me I would definitely choose this because its damn nice. The whole unit is air-conned and go 2 rooms and a big living room. This means plenty of space for sleeping and whatever games we gonna play. If we choose the first floor then the bbq pits are also just outside.

And so you can see my choice is pretty obvious. We haven't tried the Aranda chalet before so I really would urge you all to give it a try. Assuming 22 ppl go its 490/22=$22.30 so if you save a dollar a day, you get aranda chalet (it rhymes) and even a little extra.

So do give it some thought and tell me your choice asap on the tagboard so that we can book early and probably get a better unit. If you can't make it for any of the days inform me also so that maybe the dates can be changed. Help ask around for a NTUC Union gold card holder too so that we can get the Aranda chalet at the cheaper price should we decide on it. (we should. we really really should)

Woah, i must be crazy to blog now.

I bet all of you are either sleeping soundly or perhaps still struggling away, but im so sian here and cant get to slp. Last paper will be here in 7hrs time, which means 10hrs from now everything shld end off. So near yet so far. I bet the 3hrs will pass very quickly, just like all other papers. Yet we studied far beyond 3 hrs for it.

This doesnt sound very efficient. We use so much time in order to prepare for tt 3hrs, multiplying by the number of students studying for it, that must be alot man-hours lost! Then if we do the summation of the time spent, i guess it'll approach infinity. So, the series is divergent! Let's call this the Knowledge Progression (KP). Perhaps one day, someone will derive a new education policy to make it convergent, so the more people study, the less time everyone need! Wad a cool theory right.

Eating time ---- 3h
Bathing time --- 2h
so by right i have around 10h to study each day... Cool. so must count wen i sit at my desk then i day dream for around 1h.(warm up) then i start work. after 2h rest 1h. so i have around 6 hours... not bad... then i have fri sat sun left so 18h. so is around 4h each subject. dam. considering i took 2h to do stupid trigo tutorial, i conclude that i am in very big trouble. This sux.
But nvm, must always look on the bright side of life. 8 days to end of promos...haha cant wait. just hope i dun get retained...

Hey ppl!

Exams' getting nearer and nearer, all the best for everyone who is putting in effort, its stil not too late now. 1 week may seem short, but its actually quite long. Estimating u spend 8hrs slping, 2 hrs eating, 1hr body maintenance, 1hr listening to music to relax abit, u stil have 12 left for studying. 12 hrs X 9 days= 108hrs. Assuming ceteris paribus, u have about 20+ hrs for each subject. Tts quite alot actually. But we do take into account that ceteris paribus conditions may not hold, so lets put an uncertainty of +-4hrs for each subject. Tt means, for a total of 5 subjects, the uncertainty would be +-20hrs, meaning total time to studing is stil 100+-20 hrs. Tts stil alot to study. In conclusion, we still have alot of time to study. YOU CAN DO IT! (provided u wan to do it)

After exam then we finally hav the time to celebrate the bdays of 2 poor souls (or perhaps 8) which we hav failed to celebrate on time for the past 4yrs. Motivational right...

we wanted ta surprise her by pretending to not go pizza hut to eat today when we actly are.
but teoyiwei hadta ruin it due to her confidence in her popularity lol.
she expected us to spring this "surprise" on her so she just walked to pizza hut instead of getting keong to meet her at some place near sumo house.

had fun at pizza hut and took some fotos.

hey eugene here again... yest went bac to dhs to watch the pop. mus say it really rocks!! the skit was dam funny. even if sumtimes really no link. the std2s n 3s dance was very nice too. but the std1s idol was really gay. haha. but cannot really blame dam them. guess we were like tt too wen we were std 1s.
going bac to dhs again was a very nice feeling. its like a lot of things change(like the hostel and ms debi) but the place still looks very familar. rmbr how last time we stay at dhs until at least 5 or6 everyday, but we really enjoyed it alot. it was a very nice life. now at vj everyday sch end i cant wait to rush home. theres nothing to do there, no one to hang out with and no sj room to go to.
i really miss having meetings and listening to the gay things tt we cum out with. everytime we prepare for performance it will be very fun. really miss those times...

guess the next time we will meet is during jnco social nite. jia you to all the sign on kids.lol. and ky dun be sad...haha

Just to add on from eugene's post, i think pw seriously takes up a bloody lot of time. So far my grp kept on changing our proposal, change until i sian liao. Hopefully tis wil be the finalised one. My pw grp stil not bad la, jus tt the concentration span is veri low, everytime after some discussion will get distracted. Other than this tt pisses me off, the rest is alright. Hope to get pw quickly over and done with. Lets go celebrate after our Oral Presentation.

Anyway time seriously flies la, in a blink of eye POP is here again. I can stil vividly rmb our POP last yr la. I think the most significant part was the parade march-past, the final time when we marched as a sqd. Aloysius stil purposely made his way down to join us during the social night la, he was supposed to be fishing at ECP. I can stil rmb some of us slept on the netball court, i woke up a few times and the stars were constantly changing position. But who noes we lost the KEY the next day morning, spent so much time looking for it. haha. Ky we noe tt its not ur fault, though u were the last one who saw it. Seriously the mystery of the lost key have nvr been solved yet, could it realli be WN trying to sabo us as wad we hav suspected anot? haha

I guess now everyone is busy with life. the busier u get, the faster time passes. And tis is bad, cos we are not happy about life being too tied up and time passing too fast. This is seriously bad, everyday passes so quickly nowadays. I wanna find time to do alot things. I wanna go kayak, go play ball, go cycling, go climb bukit timah again. Lets go bukit timah one day again during the dec holiday.

i think im gg to suffer frm schizophrenia(??dunno how to spell it) in the near future. anyway, we (the sign on kids) had some meeting today (which was fun in a way that we talked like mad) and suddenly i felt so OLD..like im becoming an adult so fast its scary. like really scary. oh my goodness. i dowanna grow old and go to work!!! in a few years time i will be flabby and white and naggy like my mum!! (actually i accomplished the flabby and white part alrdy, all tts left is the naggy part..oh and the wrinkles) and whenever i see the sign on kids i miss all of yooouuuuuu~ hello im the most sad one can im all alone in bukit timah. anw if im alone and if i allow myself to think and think and think..i become super gayed like almost paranoid. scary scary. i mean, im damn high and all wif u all budden i cant help but feel very sad and scared that time is passing faster than a damn toot toot train!! N WE'RE ALL GG TO DIE SOON. cool huh.

siaaannnn nxt time hv to go work n all. plus now i hv no idea what i want to do. sadness. oh well, anw so i was saying i started my lovely productive thinking process along the way home and once i reached home i could practically feel hystericalness boom through my eyeballs and hair pores and all tt catalysed vy none other than wonderful pw. so like tt loh. 2 faced person huh me...ok byebye.

Im bored now and so i shall blog.
